After reading about the US Army grounding all off the shelf purchased Drones / UAV's used by different units in the US Military. (www.suasnews.com/2017/08/us-ar…)
At the same time (same day) the US Department of Defense (DoD) announced authorization to shoot down drones also? (www.defense.gov/News/Article/A…)
The DoD must have some pretty good reasons why? Besides control through commerce and capitalism with only approved US manufacturing / dealers to provide military with drones, right?
Or might this have something to do with the components and assembly of the drones are all done in China?
Who knows?
